Tropical Food Plants?

I have all the tropical plants that live in my tank and grow to about 4 inches tall, I do know what kind tropical plants is though! Im just wondering why some plant leaves turning brown? What am I doing wrong? Is this part of the cycle OIF? Should I remove the brown leaves?
